When you Lose Control.

God knows our hearts, our minds and our intentions. People tend to think we are in control, this is true, but only to a certain extent. 

Have you ever tried to make something happen and it just didn't work out as you planned it?

Well, this is true with God and our walk with him.

Imagine a strong current of water, rushing and moving, never standing still.

This represents us.

now, Imagine all that water being funneled into an aqueduct, the aqueduct will not stop the water from rushing, but it will guide where the water goes.

This represents God.

Sometimes there are twists and turns in this aqueduct, sometimes there is a up-climb, sometimes there is a downward spiral, either way the water is in the aqueduct, being lead, being guided.

Sometimes the twist and turns are tight and we can get roughed up, but he always braces us for impact, but we are always moving forward.

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet

and a light for my path.

Psalm 119:105

Isn't it beautiful to know that the God who formed the universe and everything in it and saw that it was good, guides and leads us everyday, maybe things didn't go as we planned doesn't mean that's the end, He is just moving us on to bigger and better things.
